Most founders we work with know their market far better than any consultant will. What they are missing is a technical counterweight — someone who has already seen how this particular decision plays out three years down the track, and who has no commission riding on the answer.
What this looks like
We start by understanding the commercial position: where revenue comes from, what the next funding or growth milestone requires, and which constraints are real versus inherited. Only then do we look at the technology.
From there the work is usually some mix of platform and vendor selection, technical due diligence, roadmap shaping, and sitting in on the conversations where the expensive decisions get made. Sometimes it is simply a second opinion on a proposal your team has already put together — which is a perfectly good use of an afternoon.
What you walk away with
A short, readable document that states the recommendation, the reasoning, the options considered, and what would have to be true for us to change our mind. It should be useful to a technical lead and legible to a board.
We are equally happy to tell you that your current approach is sound and you do not need us. That has happened, and it is a better outcome than a project nobody needed.
